As awareness and public backlash escalate, a growing number of Republican governors and legislatures are moving against the racist indoctrination taking place in government schools under the guise of “Critical Race Theory.” CRT basically holds that all European peoples and the institutions that they developed are “racist” and “white supremacist” and so, must be dismantled.
Leading the charge among chief executives was Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who announced a ban on the hateful and discredited ideology in government schools. “There’s no room in our classrooms for things like critical race theory,” he said. “teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money.”
State lawmakers are also fighting back. In New Hampshire, for example, HB 544 would ban CRT peddling by any taxpayer-funded institution including government schools and universities. The measure would also prohibit teaching students to “adopt or believe” CRT’s “divisive concepts,” although CRT can still be discussed in an academic manner without peddling it as truth.
Victims of mass-murdering tyrant Chairman Mao Zedong such as Lily Tang-Williams, who testified in favor of the New Hampshire bill, have highlighted the eerie parallels between CRT and the indoctrination in Chinese brainwash camps for children. In Mao’s China, schools divided the population broadly into “oppressor” and “oppressed” classes. The result: tens of millions slaughtered.
Lawmakers in Oklahoma are also on the warpath against CRT after whistleblowers from the state’s government schools began leaking propaganda materials to legislators. “I was appalled by what I saw,” Senator Shane Jett told The Epoch Times, which wrote a comprehensive piece on state resistance to CRT. “It’s basically psychological abuse of children.”
Under Senator Jett’s legislation, CRT propaganda would be banned in the state’s government schools. The measure would also create a process to fire or refuse to hire teachers who refuse to stop efforts to brainwash children with the racial propaganda. It is unacceptable that children are “having their entire curriculum hijacked by ‘how can we look at this academic subject through the prism of race,’” he said, describing CRT as a scheme to undermine America’s constitutional order.
Iowa lawmakers already cleared a key subcommittee hurdle with HB 802, which would ban CRT in all government agencies, public schools, and universities. The measure, which has already been introduced in the Senate as well, would also ban “diversity and inclusion efforts,” which studies have found increase racial animus and division.
Lawmakers in West Virginia are considering similar legislation. Under HB 2595, no state money could be used to promote CRT, with schools and even state contractors being prohibited from trying to brainwash their students or employees. Any state agency violating the statute would lose its funding.
Most recently, Texas Representative James White filed HB 4093 to ban CRT propaganda in government schools throughout the state. Among other prohibitions, the legislation would ban racist concepts and the CRT-backed dogma that “an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously.”
The hyper-racial propaganda first exploded into the public consciousness when it was revealed that federal agencies had started pushing CRT on employees in “diversity” training. Using an executive order, President Donald Trump promptly banned it, though Biden has since revoked that order. Many of the bills and efforts to ban it at the state level borrow language from Trump’s original measure.
Simply banning the race-mongering from government schools will do little to fix the cesspools and insane asylums masquerading as education institutions. Rather, CRT propaganda is merely a symptom of a much more systemic disease that — if left unaddressed — will destroy America’s youth along with the nation. There is no bigger crisis facing America right now.
