Democrats Push Platform Issue That Could Cost Them 2020

In the past few weeks, we, as a culture, demonstrated how many steps we will take on our slope to Hell, as we are at a point now where infanticide is not only acceptable, but loudly applauded.

The celebration and acceptance of such murdering is perpetuated by several putrid, yet profitable positions, and it starts with politicians. Even after the opinion on Roe v. Wade was presented, abortions were thought to be “safe, legal, and rare.”

But in the state of Virginia, Del. Kathy Tran (D-Fairfax) thought that was far too restrictive.

Tran faced questions last week on House Bill 2491, calling for abortions to be allowed even when the woman was in the process of birthing a full-grown baby.

When asked about what would happen if a mother is dilating, in other words, does the bill allow for an abortion to occur, Tran said, “My bill would allow that, yes.” To put into perspective Tran’s priorities, on the same day, she submitted a bill to save cankerworms. For Tran, the cankerworms are to be saved but the pests known as children should be purged. At the moment H.B. 2491 is tabled.

Tran’s fellow Democrat and the state’s governor, Dr. Ralph Northam then commented on her bill on WTOP Radio’s “Ask the Governor,” answering with a medical perspective as a former pediatric neurologist. Northam claimed the concern for her bill was unjustified.

“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen,” he said. “The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother. I think this was really blown out of proportion.”

After facing backlash from not only conservatives, but any red-blooded human being who cares about life, Northam said he had no regrets about the comments he made on the radio. This makes perfect sense, because he is falling in line with the Democrat Party platform.

“We believe unequivocally, like the majority of Americans, that every woman should have access to quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion—regardless of where she lives, how much money she makes, or how she is insured,” the platform reads. “…And we strongly and unequivocally support a woman’s decision to have a child.”

But while Democrats, especially all of the 2020 candidates (think: Kamala Harris) try to sugarcoat the issue and say what they are doing is for the kids (think: Nancy Pelosi), what they really want to do is for themselves, what is politically expedient.

President Donald Trump pointed this out on Twitter, as he usually does, in the most simplistic manner. He tweeted: “Democrats are becoming the Party of late term abortion, high taxes, Open Borders and Crime!” At the same time, one Republican senator was found with a somewhat erect spine. Ben Sasse put forth the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would penalize doctors and professionals who do not provide medical care to those babies who survive abortions. And he made it really simple for his fellow senators to show their true colors.

“On Monday, I’m going to ask all 100 senators to come to the floor and be against infanticide,” Sasse announced on the Senate floor last week. “This shouldn’t be complicated.”

But it will be complicated because both parties are compliant to Planned Parenthood, the leaders of abortion. New Planned Parenthood President Dr. Leana Wen, even corrected a Buzzfeed article’s assessment of Planned Parenthood’s mission to say as much.

“Our core mission is providing, protecting, and expanding access to abortion and reproductive health care. We will never back down from that fight,” she tweeted on Jan. 8.

That was the original mission, too. Margaret Sanger wanted to control the population, specifically the black population, which she saw as having unfit members needing to be weeded out. In a letter to her eugenics colleague, Dr. Clarence Gamble, she wrote about the Negro Project.

“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members,” Sanger wrote in 1939.

Such weeding out is successful in New York City, where more black babies were aborted than born alive. And what do you know, it is the state of New York where you are now allowed to have an abortion all the way up to birth without any serious restriction.

Many pundits are dismissive on this issue because it hurts their narrative, but Tucker Carlson attempted to speak with pro-choice advocate Monica Klein, who refused to answer a simple question. Rather, she focused on the talking points in her arsenal because it is not about thinking on this topic; it is about the power over the people. The value of life is negated in favor of the power. Show the people the truth on this issue and that power can be taken back and lives can be saved.
