Pink Floyd Founder Protests American Border Wall

Last week, Rogers took the opportunity to announce his desire to perform the group’s album The Wall, on the US-Mexico border in protest of President Trump's desire to build a protective wall on America’s southern border.
“Before this can happen, there will first need to be an awakening against these far-right policies. The sewers are engorged by greedy and powerful men as I speak to you,” Waters told AFP.
Waters hatred of Republicans and the physical wall is not new. At past concerts he has flown giant inflatable pigs decorated with political slogans such as "Impeach Bush Now," "Push Bush Up Against The Wall," and "Pig Bush, Demolish The Border Wall.” At one of Waters’ 2017 concerts, song “Pigs (Three Different Ones)” was accompanied by images of Trump in lipstick, a blond wig, dominatrix leather, and being naked with small genitalia.
If Waters makes his southern border wall show, it will not be the first time he plays the songs of The Wall in reference to a political event. In July 1990, he performed a full-length concert in Germany to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall. But he needed an education on walls of oppression, like the Berlin Wall, which was erected to harm people and illegally keep people in evil communist East Berlin. This drastically compares to the righteous effectiveness of walls and fences built to protect citizens from injury and potential harmful sources outside of one's nation.
There are a number of protective walls and fences throughout the world that are very successful at protecting a nation's citizens from harm or abuse by illegal criminal aliens, terrorism, and illegal migration. In wake of the 2001-02 Palestinian terror campaign, the Israeli government built a 440-mile security wall, resulting in a 90-plus percent drop in terrorist attacks.
Israel also faced another border security crisis when thousands of Africans from nations such as Ethiopia and Sudan came across its southern border in the tens of thousands.
“They came into Israel illegally and they caused major problems in southern Tel Aviv…the rape rate and murder rates skyrocketed from those 55,000 illegal immigrants,” said David Rubin, former Mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and author of Trump and the Jews.
What was Israel’s solution to their illegal immigration crisis? A Wall. By 2015 they finished building a high-tech wall-fence along the southern border, and by 2017 there were “zero illegal immigrants” coming into Israel from the southern border. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), who serves as Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Chairman, said in 2017 that he believes the United States can learn from Israel.
"Israel's swift and effective border security measures provide lessons for the United States and other countries seeking to protect their citizens from the threat of terrorism and illegal migration,” Johnson said.
Properly constructed walls and fences, combined with a number of high-tech security measures, can properly do the job.
“Indeed, they are the tried-and-true go-to strategy almost everywhere that security or illegal migration is a concern,” said Michael Rubin, writing for AEIdeas.
The number of countries that are utilizing walls and fences to deter illegal immigration and secure borders from terrorism and criminal aliens is growing at a profound rate. The list includes Algeria, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Jordan, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Syria, Turkey, and Yemen.
Democrats know that walls and fences work. They have many times in the past advocated for and provide funds to build security walls and fences in other countries and on the American southern border. This is not about the wall. This is about a hatred for President Trump that is so deep-rooted and psychopathic, it is more concerned about destroying his presidency than protecting the American people.
Waters and Democrats not only need an education on how walls work, they need to stop hating the president and start protecting Americans.
